At the last JEA Board meeting, the Board decided to delay its vote on the proposed Net Metering policy until after the November election and ballot decision on Amendment 1.  So on the one hand this decision is responsive to the community asking for more time before JEA cuts net metering rate for small solar rooftop systems (Bravo JEA Board).  There was a downside to the policy not moving forward, however.  The increase from avoided costs to 7.5 cents was also not enacted for slightly larger rooftop systems that would potentially encourage more businesses to install solar.

What are your thoughts on this subject?  What do you think the next steps should be?
