The goal of this committee is to provide educational programs and outreach initiatives for all levels of green building and LEED related education, and industry professionals to advance green building values, knowledge, and practice. The objectives of the committee also include helping increase the number of LEED Green Associates and APs in North Florida through our courses and educational programs, and to support the educational objectives of other Committees, and the educational objectives of the Chapter as a whole. EMERGING PROFESSIONALS COMMITTEE
The North Florida Chapter of the Emerging Professionals (EP) Committee focuses on the professional development of students and young professionals who express an interest in the rapidly growing green building industry. GREEN SCHOOLS COMMITTEEEvery Child in a Green School within a Generation
This committee is dedicated to greening the schools of North Florida by educating about the benefits of green building to school boards, universities, principals, teachers, parents, students, facility managers, and the community at-large. The purpose of this committee is to develop the criteria for sponsors and help find sponsors for green building events.
The goal of this committee is to increase USGBC membership; both North Florida Chapter membership and National USGBC membership. The Membership Committee works hand-in-hand with all committees with the goal to increase membership through increased awareness.
