KickSTART for Businesses

Thursday, June 23, 2016

8:30 a.m. – 11:30 a.m.

At the U.S. Green Building Council (USGBC) we believe in better buildings; places that complement our environment and enhance our communities. Places that give people better, brighter, healthier spaces to live, work and play.

We need a few volunteers to help us greet, take notes and pictures and social media during the workshop.

This FREE KickSTART exploratory workshop is to improve financial and resource savings as well as health benefits for local workplace occupants. Local businesses who have signed up for this workshop will work together with peers and volunteer experts from USGBC to identify opportunities and challenges to advance sustainability initiatives in your building. This interactive experience will provide guidance on simple strategies to increase cost savings on energy and water usage, as well as opportunities to improve building health for employees and customers. Local businesses will leave this workshop with the resources and practical next steps to get started on an effective workplace performance plan that moves a business forward and gives them something to brag, promote and be proud about!
