FREE Energy Efficiency Workshop -- Buildings Use A LOT of Energy and Water: Reducing Energy Demand

This is the first of three workshops that will set the stage for any business to learn about its energy usage and how they can reduce their consumption and save money.

At the end of this session, the participants will be able to:
  • Hear success stories from other local businesses.
  • Understand and discuss the fundamentals of energy usage and energy demand within a commercial building
  • Analyze and implement energy usage and energy demand reduction strategies
  • Learn how to start an Energy Star Portfolio Manager account
  • Analyze and implement water use reduction strategies
  • Understand the role of LEED for Existing Buildings Operations + Maintenance and utilize as a resource for implementing and tracking sustainable operations strategies, including energy and water reduction
  • Learn about additional resources in the community including JEA incentives and a new Green Workplace Designation to help you with your energy reduction journey.
