Welcome to USGBC NF's January 20.40 Talks!
Inspired by PechaKucha and Ted Talks, USGBC North Florida brings you 20.40 Talks, a dynamic series designed to unleash the creativity of our region and foster sustainability in our region.
Each event gathers three thought-leaders offering diverse perspectives on how to create a fully sustainable community by the year 2040. Each speaker will concisely communicate his/her vision with 20 images, 40 seconds per image.
For our January 2014 event, our three inspiring topics and speakers include:
- LEED v4 -- presented by Mark Gelfo, Principal and Vice President, TLC Engineering for Architecture
- Green Apple Day of Service -- presented by Susan Carew, Duval County Public Schools; Suzette Gagnon, Principal of Christ the King; and USGBC UNF Student Chapter representatives who installed rain barrels
- Becoming a Certified B Corporation - Presented by Rosalinda Sanquiche, Executive Director, Ethical Markets Media.
Come learn about three topics from three experts in under one hour, with time for lunch and interaction with your peers! This series is replacing our former Master Speaker Lunches.
Register ASAP due to the catering deadline!
NOTE: Chapter members are welcome to bring first-time luncheon guests at $20 member rate with their registration! The intent of this opportunity is to support members bringing clients or colleagues one time to expose them to the Chapter and sustainability topics.
